The program is a full-time, continuous, 24-month cohort program consisting of 36 credit hours culminating in the MSFD degree. The curriculum includes 4 consecutive semesters of academic education and research. The projected life of the program is ongoing, and the program will admit one cohort per year.
The competency-based curriculum design is based on the American Board of Forensic Odontology’s standards and guidelines; and qualifications and requirements for Board Certification. It provides the didactic education, hands-on training, practical experience, and report writing skills in all disciplines within the forensic dentistry field required to competently assist and pursue careers within the medio-legal system.
