DMD-769: Advanced Operative

This course advances students’ knowledge and preclinical competencies in operative dentistry through the management and restoration of complex restorative cases. Through integrated didactic instruction, simulation-based laboratory exercises, and competency-based assessments, students develop advanced skills in diagnosis, treatment planning, caries management, restorative dentistry, full-mouth rehabilitation concepts, pediatric restorative care, esthetic dentistry, removable prosthodontic considerations, and interdisciplinary patient management. Emphasis is placed on critical thinking, clinical decision-making, evaluation of treatment outcomes, and preparation for comprehensive clinical patient care.
