This course builds upon foundational removable prosthodontic principles and advances students’ knowledge and technical skills in the restoration of partially edentulous and edentulous patients. Through integrated didactic instruction and simulation-based laboratory experiences, students develop competencies in removable partial denture design, surveying, treatment planning, tooth modification for removable prostheses, evaluation of prosthesis fit, and management of complex restorative cases. Emphasis is placed on critical thinking, prognostic assessment, laboratory communication, and preparation for clinical patient care.
