This course provides student dentists with the anatomy, medical considerations, pharmacology, techniques, and complications of local anesthesia in dental practice. Additional topics include the administration of nitrous oxide, oral, IM, IV, and conscious sedation, general anesthesia, along with the management of medical emergencies likely to be seen in the dental office.
